About Swelube
Founding and early growth
Swelube was founded in 2005 in Gothenburg, Sweden, with a vision to provide high-quality lubricants and antifreeze products to the Nordic market. Initially focused on developing the AMALIE brand in Sweden, we quickly earned a reputation for delivering reliable and innovative solutions. Over time, we expanded our product range and secured the general agency for MPM Oil and PEAK Antifreeze, strengthening our presence in the industry.
Transition to NK2 Lubricants
As our expertise grew, we decided to shift our focus toward developing and expanding our own brand, NK2 Lubricants, across the Nordic region. The sale of the MPM agency marked a significant transition, allowing us to concentrate on building NK2 Lubricants as an innovative and trusted brand that meets diverse customer needs.
Strategic Merger and Expansion
In 2024, Swelube merged with Nykvist Chemicals, a strategic move that enhanced our capabilities and broadened our operations. As part of this growth, we established a new central warehouse in Eskilstuna, Sweden, streamlining distribution and improving service delivery across the region.
